Community colleges around the nation team up to share resources, expertise
Community colleges across the region are giving their commitment to advance agriculture in the future.
Nine different community colleges across the region signed a memorandum Monday, Sept. 21, in a partnership to share resources, faculty expertise, curriculum and tools.
The partnership will support hands-on student learning, develop future conservation-minded farmers and ranchers, and encourage more students to pursue agriculture careers.
"We look forward to future with stronger collaboration and partnerships, it's such a big job and we can do more together than we could ever do individually," said U.S. Department of Agriculture Natural Resource Conservation Service's Acting Chief Kevin Norton.
